Nueve – Review

Went to Nueve in Didsbury last week with friends. Its a Tapas restaurant which we had heard was good. Of course before going, had a look at the menu beforehand – although the menu on their web site was a bit hard to read as the text was small and you could not zoom in.

Anyway, back to the food. We tried lots of different things – we picked about 3 things each plus we got some “sides” plus some bread. All tasty – nothing outstanding. We all shared some of the house white wine. Was a great way to spend a warm Manchester evening – currently a heatwave. Although when does a heatwave become just “summer”. Its pretty much been warm since middle of May! (So about 7 weeks!).

My favourite dish I think was the Bacalo a La Vizanie which is a coastal favourite – its grilled cod in a pepper sauce. Also liked the patatas bravas – a classic 🙂 And the lamb stew.
