Review: BAB

January 27, 2019

Went to BAB other week – this is a new kebab place which opened a few months ago in Northern Quarter in Manchester. It was one of the many restaurants in Manchester which had a January deal – not quite as good as the 50% off deals you see in some restaurants – it was Review: BAB

Review: One Plus

December 26, 2018

Excellent new restaurant which opened in Manchester at the end of 2017. The restaurant is split into 2 levels – the lower level is the more “traditional” restaurant with noodle and rice dishes. The rice dishes change weekly. The ground floor level is for (Chinese) hot pot. Also known as steamboat or also “da bin Review: One Plus

Five Guys – Review

November 6, 2018

Been meaning to try out Five Guys for ages. Heard mixed things about it. First heard about them when I was in London years ago and it happened to be when they had just opened a restaurant there and there was a huge queue. When they first came to Manchester it was in the Trafford Five Guys – Review

My Thai – Review

October 21, 2018

Went to My Thai few days ago with couple friends. We came on a Wednesday evening and it was fairly busy – and while we were there were a few Deliveroo deliveries/takeaways being picked up. My Thai is certainly a place you can go for inexpensive food. Most of the main courses was £7.50. I My Thai – Review

Brewski Mosley St – Review

October 5, 2018

Came here back in April this year when it had only recently opened. It is located just off Mosley Street, on corner of Booth Street and W Mosley Street. I had heard good things about the Brewski in Chorlton. Brewski sell North American comfort food inc. poutine, Mac n Cheese, Raclette and Deli sandwiches. The Brewski Mosley St – Review

Rosylee – Review

September 27, 2018

Went here on Monday, to take advantage of their 50% off food Monday deal. (They also have a £10 for 2 cocktail deal – which I think is on all days(?) – anything from classic cocktail menu). When I arrived, spoke to the barman to say arrived who checked booking etc. Was some confusion as Rosylee – Review

Siam Smiles – Review

September 12, 2018

Siam Smiles used to be located in Chinatown but recently (ish) had to move – due to increase in costs. They are now located in Deansgate Mews, the small pathway parallel to Deansgate. This is where B.Eat Street used to be. Its probably not the best location as many people probably don’t know about the Siam Smiles – Review

We went on Monday because every main pizza on Monday (in the Didsbury location) is just £5. They also have some other offices: Wednesday is buy one get one half price. And Monday to Thursday, GB Pizza Co (Great British Pizza Company), Didsbury – Review

The Italian Fish Club restaurant – review

July 24, 2018

I was in Liverpool over the weekend and for our evening meal, we went to The Italian Club Fish restaurant. Its been ages since I have been on Bold St (or surrounding streets) in ages – I really liked how they were so many independent food places. For lunch and for a snack, we also The Italian Fish Club restaurant – review

Bunny Jackson’s review

July 20, 2018

Bunny Jackson’s “re-opened” in First Street in November 2017. It was originally a “pop up” place which was on B/Eat Street on Deansgate Mews – but then B.Eat Street closed last summer – but now its found a more permanent place. It was brought back by the people behind Junkyard Golf Club – which is Bunny Jackson’s review

Nueve – Review

July 9, 2018

Went to Nueve in Didsbury last week with friends. Its a Tapas restaurant which we had heard was good. Of course before going, had a look at the menu beforehand – although the menu on their web site was a bit hard to read as the text was small and you could not zoom in. Nueve – Review
