Final Score – Review. Rating: 1/5

September 15, 2018

Watched the Sky Cinema film Final Score. Expected rubbish – and it really was rubbish. Surprisingly though, it gets a fairly high 74% rating on Rotten Tomatoes??? 😕  As a comparison and to check it wasn’t just me, checked the rating elsewhere – Empire gives it 2/5. The acting is pretty awful – and you Final Score – Review. Rating: 1/5

Siam Smiles – Review

September 12, 2018

Siam Smiles used to be located in Chinatown but recently (ish) had to move – due to increase in costs. They are now located in Deansgate Mews, the small pathway parallel to Deansgate. This is where B.Eat Street used to be. Its probably not the best location as many people probably don’t know about the Siam Smiles – Review

August 15, 2018

Went to GB Pizza Co in Didsbury last night (they also have a location in Margate) and had a delicious pizza. We went on Monday because every main pizza on Monday (in the Didsbury location) is just £5. They also have some other offices: Wednesday is buy one get one half price. And Monday to Thursday, GB Pizza Co (Great British Pizza Company), Didsbury – Review

Mission: Impossible – Fallout. Rating: 4/5

August 4, 2018

Went to watch the latest Mission: Impossible movie the other day. Was looking forward to it especially since it was getting lots of good reviews. For example, 97% on Rotten Tomatoes and 5/5 on Empire magazine. When I left the cinema, my initial thoughts was that it was “good” but not brilliant. I’d built it Mission: Impossible – Fallout. Rating: 4/5

San Diego Comic-Con 2018 – the “best” trailers

July 24, 2018

It was San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend. Which means loads of panels and lots of trailers for movies and TV shows. There are numerous different web pages claiming to show EVERY trailer, but seems to miss some. I was going to therefore post ALL the trailers – but then I realised there are too San Diego Comic-Con 2018 – the “best” trailers

For lunch and for a snack, we also The Italian Fish Club restaurant – review

Bunny Jackson’s review

July 20, 2018

Bunny Jackson’s “re-opened” in First Street in November 2017. It was originally a “pop up” place which was on B/Eat Street on Deansgate Mews – but then B.Eat Street closed last summer – but now its found a more permanent place. It was brought back by the people behind Junkyard Golf Club – which is Bunny Jackson’s review

Russia 2018 – my World Cup review

July 19, 2018

So the World Cup ended about a week ago and had time to think about it. I think most people will agree it was a really good World Cup – on and off the pitch. Some people saying it was possibly the best World Cup ever? Beforehand, especially in the UK, there was lots of Russia 2018 – my World Cup review

Nueve – Review

July 9, 2018

Went to Nueve in Didsbury last week with friends. Its a Tapas restaurant which we had heard was good. Of course before going, had a look at the menu beforehand – although the menu on their web site was a bit hard to read as the text was small and you could not zoom in. Nueve – Review
